Does anyone know what company makes the walmart look alike nike shox turbos?? They acually look pretty hot but I would never get cought buying sneakers from walmart!! I looked on wally-worlds web site but they did not have the shoes:icon_frow . If any one knows who makes them please let me know!!! 30929

Actually, they probably are Nikes in a roundabout way. Nike wanted in to the Wally Worlds (lots of people buy sneakers there) and created/bought the Exeter Brands Group (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Exeter_Brands_Group&action=edit), a wholly owned subsidiary for athletic footwear and apparel brands for lower price points (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Price_point). Brands include Starter, Team Starter, Asphalt, Shaq and Dunkman.( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nike%2C_Inc. ) in 2004.

So, if you see one of those shoes, they are basically Nikes. Which is how you can buy a pair of Starters at Wally World that look like Nikes from 2-5 years ago.

I don't know where to find pics other than going to Wally World and snapping a few. Those types of sneakers (knock offs) are really not promoted on the net.
