I did some searching on Stride Rite's website and found a listing for UPCs. I downloaded some info, and found what is in store for 2008! (You can go there too, but the file is long... they have EVERYTHING, including promotional material, listed all the way back to 2000.) This is interesting info to have access to. I pulled it down into Excel and by doing some filtering, I can tell that there are only going to be a few new Keds women's styles available in my size (12W). There will be a number of new Grasshoppers but not Keds.

Even more interesting stuff... The best news yet!!!!

These are Men's Styles that were supposedly (or supposed to be) introduced in June 2007, but maybe they are waiting until 2008, now that the summer has passed. Even more good news!!!

All Men's are 8-12 and 13.

Will they have the mens in wide sizes???? I sure hope so as the triumphs were too narrow for me in medium. Thanks

Nope, not this year at least. All the sizes for men are medium in width.

I have to say I've found that the "medium" men's width is similar to a women's wide. I've got a pair of women's size 10 navy champs and I could really use a wide- they just don't do wides of the colors. So, I'm looking forward to being able to get a pair of men's.

I'm hoping they will sell the men's line in major department stores this time. But I already know of one boutique shoe store here that said they will have those Champs in by January for the spring season.
