15 years ago I bought my first pair of allstars. As soon as I saw them in the shop I knew I wanted them but... In these days they were only in lady's sizes up to size 8 and I have a size 8,5/9 But I just had to have a pair of neehighs! I'll never forget the face of the salesman. 'Are you sure?' Yes! 'But they are lady shoes!' Yes I know! 'Ah, for your girl?' No, don't have one, they are for me! From that moment he smiled and I knew he was gay (i'm not) but he did sell me the allstars, probable hoping I would date him wearing those allstars I had to be gay too. At that time I was a firefighter at the royal dutch airforce and one of my college was with me, so I had a nickname from that moment (captain darlin).
But time have changed, and this year almost the same pair of neehighs were available up to size 12. And as soon as I found a pair in size 9 I bought them.
See if you can find the differences!
