Season 2 has the deck hands wearing red sneakers. I believe the females are Keds. I've downloaded the episode and see if I can get some grabs.

Just saw an episode of the show, and you are completely right seeker it is a red keds fest. I think all the women accept for the captain are wearing red keds. So far I have seen the girl from Hawaii and the one from South Africa wearing red keds. I also saw a preview clip and the girl from Florida is wearing a pair as well off the ship.
