I spent a couple hours drivng around on tuesday looking for these, thinking Journeys would still have them in stock, but no luck. Ended up on zappos, they had them and shipped next day for free.

And BTW, I was actually shopping while wearing my navy champs. I think a couple people noticed but not many and nobody said anything.

like the shoes except for the bottoms; can't stand the way they're making them now. and i'm a keds fan too and i like the champs,but the originals. i recently bought a pair of the originals and had to special order them from a store from keds. i'm having a lady doing a special request for me and she's wearing the keds i bought and i'm having her get them all dirty and stinky just like the pair of converse all stars i bought from her a while back. but i guess if your happy with em!

I'd prefer the previous soles as well but I'm not as against the new ones as most people.

I've been wearing these quite a bit since I got them and spent all weekend standing and walking in them. They're getting some fantastic toe prints already. Probably going to visit a friend in NYC some weekend this month and I'm planning to wear them about.

I often shop the thrift stores in my Keds. That was my first time to shop for new shoes while wearing women's champs, I usually wear my men's Keds and usually don't get looks at all.

I'm an 8.5M, 10W.

Might be selling some more soon.
