So, I finally broke down and got myself my first pair of sneakers with the blue label on the back. I've liked the style of Keds since the first time I saw them (which was likely back in grade school), but never really got around to getting myself a pair until just recently (once I started being more active on the forums, actually).
Anyhow, I like the style of the normal Champions (I prefer leather, but canvas seems to wear nicer), but they were a bit too flat for me to be able to pull them off with my everyday attire, so I opted for a slightly more challenging-to-find pair from Keds' washable line; I believe this style is called "Wring".
Anyhow, this struck me as an achievement of sorts, so I thought I'd share.

Re: First Pair of Real Keds

Are you lucky enough to know women willing to wear them out for you (or us...😉)?

Nice, I've never had a pair of those but they look good.

Unfortunately, I don't know any women who wear the same shoe size as me who would be willing to wear a pair of Keds, let alone wear them to a point and then give them back, so the task is still on me to achieve.
