Freaks and Geeks Cheerleaders

Last night I saw the end of an Episode of Freaks and Geeks. As a group of cheerleaders were running away from the camera, I saw several Keds labels on the heels of their sneakers.

I could only find one picture that shows the heel labels.

Yes, there was a time when Keds were the only footwear cheerleaders would wear. There was also a time before instant replay and before communications allowed networks to switch feeds to other games or before they figured out that you can make money on a halftime show when at college football games, the only show available was the marching band and cheerleaders. For me that was as a much fun as watching the game.

That was a GREAT show. Canceled way to soon. That particular episode was one of the best. Would've loved to been the mascot and have a bunch of keds-wearing cheerleaders tackle me.
