I am pretty sure its 7.5 USA mens, which is 9.5 womens. Most women have
6 eyelets for low tops, and smaller sizes like size 4 USA mens have 5 eyelets. On hi tops there are 8 eyelets for size 7.5 and up I think.

I thought we had solved this riddle but it seems not looking back - this is the one size missed. On hi's, 8 eyelets start at size 7 mens, and 6 holes start on men's size 5 in lo's. But what size does 7 holes on lo start with - we don't seem to have identified that yet (see mentalboye's previous questions). Who is going to find out first - to the collections or shops lads!

Just had a look at some photos - men's size 6 lo is 6 holes.

We don't have half sizes in Australia but mens 8 (in lo) was six holes and mens 9 was seven holes. Like blackedsaregood says, the half sizes might be the break.
