Just thought I'd write a note to let you know that I believe Howard Stern is a big fan of Keds. As a devoted Keds fan, I am always listening and looking for signs of other devotees. Many years ago, in one of his first books, he transcribed a dialogue (computer instant message) he claimed to have had with a woman online. In their sexually explicit dialogue, he described meeting the woman at a club and going outside for some sexual activity at his car. He described the woman as wearing a white tee shirt, denim shorts and white Keds sneakers. (I couldn't have pictured it better)
Also, in one of his videos (I'm sure it's available somewhere, I think it was of his Saturday night TV show) he went on and on that Dirty Dancing was his favorite movie of all time. He then had an attractive young actress (not sure who) on and he persuaded her to dress as Jennifer Grey (white Tee, denim shorts and sockless Keds) and dance seductively over and around him as he lay on the floor. And finally, on another occasion, after signing a sponsorship contract with PF Flyers for his radio show, he made a huge deal of having everyone on the show wear a new pair of sneakers that they had received for the sponsorship. Needless to say, he described in great detail, the white Flyers, his sidekick, Robin Quivers was wearing and how sexy she looked in them.
I just wish he, or someone else of his status, would come right out and tell everyone that they believe girls look super hot when wearing Keds.
