Hey Gary, alas no the cost for one person would be quite high and I just don't see it happening.

I for one loved the chats that we used to have and think bringing them back is a great idea.
 
Do you follks know how to use IRC? We are working on a web client so you can use a browser but right now only cleints like MIRC will work.

I will put up a link in the members area with info on how to connect.
 
Ok the chat is up and working, it is in a public mode right now so anyone can connect.

Hahaha no, IRC has been around since the internet was first made public.

Once I have the web client going you won't need to doneload any thing but IRC itself is very fast and easy to use.

MIRC is the most popular

But there are many others and some good free ones.
