Itzy "Sneakers" Song & Video

Kpop doesn't normally appeal to me -- but there's a singing group called Itzy that's trending on social media right now because of a recently-released album that contains a hit song called "Sneakers". This is the first pop song I can recall that has our favorite footwear as its subject, and I found it amusing. Here's the official video and a few photos.

Yep, as we’d all agree girls in sneakers rock. And those in the last post are a big improvement.

Sorry to inflict more Kpoop--er--Kpop on everyone...but here's a performance by and a couple group portraits of Girls' Generation in suitable sneakers. Although the name on the labels isn't completely clear, I believe the girls are wearing Keds. If you choose to watch the video I recommend muting the audio!
