She was on the Tonight show with Jay Leno a while back, perhaps two or three years ago, came out in a dress and heels or something useless like that. Apparently there was talk of her wanting to wear her checkered Vans, but her handler said no. But Jay wanted her to be happy and comfy so he pulls her sneakers out from behind his desk and tells her to change her shoes. So she then slips her lovely bare feet into the old Vans and finishes the show off with them on. There might be a clip if anyone is interested in finding it.

Here is an excerpt from another interview. It sounds like she's more into jeans and sneakers and only dresses when the job requires it.

How did you relate to the fact that Abigail's a bit of a tomboy?

[laughs] Well, that's funny, because I absolutely relate to her being a tomboy. I am very much a tomboy. I mean, I also like to wear feminine things and pretty girly things, but I fought with my publicist to wear these today. [gestures to her sneakers] I mean, we argued about it. [laughs] We argue about it every day. And she finally gave in today. This is my one day for my Vans.

Aside from your nifty kicks, what else is tomboyish about you?

Well, everything in my life. Yes, I dress up a lot. I have to, it's my job, I'm going to a lot of functions and it's just part of it. And I don't mind it all the time. But I've always been an athlete. I was on a soccer team for years. I was a gymnast for six years. I was a dancer for a long time.

I LOVE HER... I used to watch 7th Heven just for Ash Simpson and Jessica Biel... They were the only thing the show had going for it... The mother was a real know it all bitch that I would have disowned and left near an ally somewhere.. Jessica seem to dress to be just one of the crowd... Those Vans rip... From what I've herd she is not your typical stupid piss drunk silly hollywood tart... She's realy clued up & got her head screwed on... Thanks for the pics Scotty... Great as always... :icon_cool
