Keds made a great thicksoled sneaker with great brown rubber on the bottom called Bliss--my wife and I loved them and we bought about 4 pair both leather and canvas--well we should have bought more--they are now discontinued--if anyone sees and dead stock online--my wife looked so hot in these sneakers-Thanks!
