I was driving through Pensylvania last week. Seeing the Keystone Logo for the state routes reminded me of the same logo on a pink rubber ball called the "Pensie Pinkie" that rivaled the Spaldeen as the ball of choice for a number of street games.
So I looked up "Pensie Pinkie" using Google, and found the following site: http://www.streetplay.com. It's all about growing up in the big city in the 40's, 50's and 60's and the games we played in the street.
Keds are not mentioned at all in the discussions, but they were there. You "old timers" (40+) guys and gals will get a kick out of this site.
