I was walking around in NYC today and came upon this guy. At first I thought this man was wearing men's Keds champions. After looking further I noticed he was in fact wearing women's Keds champions. The logo was painted white. I was quite surprised as he was with his wife and another couple. Nobody else was wearing keds. I followed him around for a while and at one point we came upon a fountain. His friend took off his shoes and he decided to follow. He had no socks on so I immediately noticed that his toe nails were painted red. (Wish I had pictures to show of his feet.) I thought this was very interesting but more power to him. Nobody said anything to him about that fact his toe nails were painted or that he was wearing women's keds.

For the record, all the new Keds have that white-painted logo.

Just received a brand new pair of men's navy champs, the men's still have the blue label only.

The easiest to tell is the eyelet count. 4 for women, 5 for men.

Hey there Y2, how's the width on the newest men's Keds?? Was thinking of trying a pair again. The older ones were too damn narrow and WAY too long. Thanks

The latest Keds champs for men are a little wider and more rounded at the toe than the style introduced a few years ago. What's funny is that I prefer the earlier style. To each their own.
