I used a blue sharpie. I don't really care that much for the white lettering. I wear size 12 in Womens. I find that the women's sizes run more true and they fit better.

I wear the 12 XW but the last decade or so for Keds their shoes have been getting crappier and WAAAYYY more narrow! I have tried about 10 pairs from Zappos and Amazon the last 2-3 years and none have fit well. *cry*

I've noticed that too. Sometimes I can wear the 12M and other times I need to wear 12w. Either way, they fit better than the mens version. The mens I find are too long and too narrow.

The mens version are gay as hell. Way too long and narrow. They also feel like they have less padding on the footbed..
