Or maybe not.
I decided that I would put Champion sizing to the test. I downloaded a women’s sizing chart from Payless and pulled a pair of 90"s grey insole Keds and also a pair I bought in 2014. Both pairs I have worn once.
My first test was simply to compare the two sneakers on the sizing chart. As you can see they are virtually identical and were identical in length. Upon trying each on I found that the newer sneaker was instantly more comfortable. Not only was there a bit more room but the canvas has a bit of spring making the fit better. The insole also had more bounce.
In terms of quality the older Keds has high quality canvas and is very stiff, where the newer has softer canvas with more spring.
Bottom line is I need to do more comparing. I'll pot the results as I come to conclusions.
