I found Brown Champions and this new Earth style (Style No. : 137331) on Marylandsquare.com in size 12 W and ordered both. They should be here in time to wear for the new year.

As a male, I do not normally wear plaid women's Keds in public but I may start with this more neutral color.

Has anyone seen these? What do you think?

Deedee

Re: New 2009 Champions

I have a pair of the brown but I've yet to wear them out (just hasn't been nice enough weather here for brand new Keds). The plaid are cool, I may need a pair of those.

Hey Deedee, I wear a 12XW in the older 1990's keds and was wondering how the width in the toe box is on these newer keds? I got a pair about 3-4 years ago and they were much longer and narrower than the older keds so I have been avoiding getting any of the new keds. Can ya help?

Hi Deedee, I think the plaid ones look very nice and very subtle, I don't think you will have any problems wearing those in public at all!!! Thank You for the Pix!!! - Rich

Re: New 2009 Champions

Deedee,

I believe the brown are my color of choice. I, myself, have yet to venture outside of the privacy of my own bedroom, and into the public world with my Keds. Perhaps someday my ambitions will allow me the courage to take those steps forward.
