Re: New Style Keds - my sole complaint
I've been going to the local-area stores lately and I would expect them to stock-pile a lot of that new-soled canvas Champs. I noticed the department stores such as Sears and JC Penny don't stock as much of the canvas Champs now like they did with the previous design. They do have more of the leather Champs retaining the crepe sole and flat un-cushoned insoles but with the new, smaller 'Keds' label though.
Could it be they've gotten the clear message from many unsatisfied customers and perhaps a return to the original crepe soles sometime soon? I sure do hope so.
I do however like the new very soft extra-padding in the insoles though, and hope they retain that.
