The conversation was about flying to Austin (again, Yay!) when one girl says:


“Oh my, God. Are those Keds?”

“Yes.”

“You are so lucky. My mother refuses to buy them for me because they don’t think they have arch support.”

“Yeah, you must have really good feet.”

“Maybe.”

This Ray Donovan episode is "Black Cadillac" and originally aired 7.21.13 on Showtime. It's at the 21:24 mark and is only 30 seconds long, but it's cool to hear three attractive young women favorably discussing Keds.

I'm not so sure it is a positive conversation. I've just got into the show and They're trying to get the daughter into a posh private school - the other girls are mocking her for not being from an established rich family, the Keds are a way of pointing out that she's not one of them.
Still its a great show and she wears them a lot so all to the good
