Yeah, wear anything you like. I had a pair of distressed red and they weren't quite as bright as the normal red (have 2 of them). If you feel a bit sensitive, just try them out by wearing jeans over the top. Depends on how old too - if you're older like me, you tend to feel everyone is looking at you if they are a bit bright!
