I went to school during the popularity of Keds in the 80’s and 90’s. It seems every class I went to about half of the girls in the class wore Keds. I remember two of my teachers that wore Keds slip ons and some of the girls in the class started to wear their slip ons in those classes.
 
No lace holes at all. Look up on the Keds website WF23240. That is the style number of the champion slip ons.
 
The style with lace holes and no laces is the Chillax. Zappos - about a year ago - do a short clip of a style that they call ‘Crashback slip-ons’ where the model shows the shoes in both guises. I like the red knockoffs in your latest post (David Bowie ‘put on your red shoes and dance’ would be happy)
 
the girls in my class wore the older style anchors,they would unlace them and shoeplay like crazy,then also they wore champions,and wore hose with them,i would be very excited
