I vote sockless -- although making that determination with high-tops can be quite a challenge! And don't get me started on those stupid ped socks...

No socks, I love the way feet impart their smell and taste on a sneaker when worn sockless. Some prefer socks as they generally get all the goods when worn.

Depends on the shoe, but for low top canvas sneakers like Keds or Vans, sockless.
