Today my girlfriend had gone with some friends for a picnic. Unfortunately on the way back they got caught in a heavy thunderstorm and had to walk through some muddy fields to get home. She was wearing her keds slip ons and her shoes got caught in the deep sticky mud a bunch of times. She was wearing a pair of thin silky socks and could barely keep her feet in her shoes while walking through the mud. Once she got her left foot really stuck in the mud and fell but luckily only ended up losing a sock and managed to retrieve her shoe. When I saw her coming, she was limping along with one socked foot in a ked and the other foot sockless sticking out of the muddy shoe. When she got stuck in the mud, something caused a cut on the back of her heel and she was not able to put her shoe back on properly as the back of the shoe was rubbing against her bare heel. I took some pics before she ran off into the shower and then took some pics of her muddy shoes before she ended up throwing them in the wash.
