Image Keds Retro Keds Champs?

I saw this Japanese company on instagram called Bshop Official, a store that specializes in well made items made from the best materials that will last a long time. They are selling what looks like 60s vintage looking Keds. The shoes have a slight pointy toe,no tag on the side and white eyelets. I don't know if these designs will be available to the West or are just exclusive to Japan.

Here's a pic of actual 1960s Keds, so it's definitely a reissue similar to the 1970s Converse. They are probably made from thick canvas and real vulcanized rubber.

I always found that keds from the 60s were more pointy in the toe. They remind me of the cheap pairs that you could buy at the department store like "Peoples", K-Mart or "Woolworths"

The Keds they sell there appear to be new and actual Keds, but not like our Keds. They are much closer in appearance to 1970s or 1980s Keds than modern Keds sold here in the U. S. Perhaps Keds shoes are slightly different in other countries?

There's always the possibility that this company is selling unlicensed fake knockoffs, but I lean toward them being legit.

Assuming that they are legit, I'd like to get my hands on a pair. :icon_cheesygrin:

Well, Converse in Japan is a different company. When Converse was in financial trouble, they sold off their rights to Japan and a few other global markets. Converse Japan still uses the old All Star label and sells items and style not available anywhere else. The case could be the same for keds. I remember keds in the 70s having the white stitching, but keds in the mid 80s went to full colour stitching and arch supports after like these.

Sling backs were horrible as was the heelless keds.
